Spring Clean-ups
Your yard can sometimes take quite a beating after the winter. Fallen branches, leaves - or even old mulch that has lost its luster or has washed away in a few places - can all contribute to making your yard look dull. Spring clean-ups give your yard a kick and get it ready for spring.

Although a few leaves in yor yard can be a good thing, as it breaks down, decomposes, and releases nutrients back into the soil, they can also block the sun from your lawn, creating dead spots. Leaves can also stain your patio, deck or driveway.

Spreading a new batch of mulch in your planting beds will prepare your plants for the hot summer days, as mulch will retain moisture and keep your yard looking sharp.

So what are you waiting for? Get out in your yard and clean it up to prepare for summer, or give me a call. You will be spending more time outdoors when the weather gets nicer. Why not spend that time in a crisp, beautiful back yard? You will enjoy it more, and so will your plants.

Project 01 - Spring-time Maintainance:

This is just an example of how basic maintainance can give a lift to your site! By re-defining the curved edge of this bed and adding a layer of mulch, the front entryway is now clean and crisp. The addition of several hardy plants softens the look of the area.
By adding edging to the bed as well as a layer of mulch, this space is now clean and welcoming.
By removing the leaves and cleaning up the area, this space is now ready for spring planting! The addition of a curved edge and some rocks creates an area with several contrasting elements. When the weather becomes more welcoming, the addition of florals will add a bright splash of color.
